HAPPY (NON)BIRTHDAY MICHELLE!!!

Oh-my-oh-dear….

I really thought today was  my friend’s (and co-teacher in the new workshop!)
birthday… but I learned yesterday that I had the date all wrong.
It was August 21 – Bummer!
I planned this birthday post to show you the card I made for her birthday,
and send you all over to Michelle’s blog to cheer… and now I’m too late

But HA… I know it’s her HUBBY’S birthday today, so there’s still celebration
going on in the LaPoint-Rydell house… YEAY!
So hop on over to Michelle anyway and send some extra love for Michael!

Happy birthday Michael!

And to the both of you… we may get older but we are still “wild at heart!”

Apologies for being absent on your (and my) blog last week…
you know it’s HOT in the Netherlands (98 degrees today!) and upstairs,
where the computer is, temperature rises even higher!
Not only I can’t stand it – my computer can’t handle it either (he’s almost
ready to retire) so most of the day I let him rest and cool off….

But this  morning he will have to work a bit ’cause I will give you a little
update on last week before I let him sleep again… He better work with me!

♥♥♥ HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!!!  ♥♥♥

The days fly by and this week is already gone!
I’ve been a little absent last week. On my blog that is…
Not on my community though! This week, my “students” got access to
my workshop community and there is a lot of activity overthere 
(although the first lesson won’t be uploaded ’till Monday)
I was present on an introduction video which I made last week and it took
me quite some time to make it. OH MY was I nervous! I HATE hearing my
own voice… I had to shoot 80 “takes” before I thought it was “kinda” right,
but at least I did it, and the ladies in the group seem to appreciate it!
(Hi girls! Thanks for the nice words!)

Anyway, on to the freewheelin’ random stuff today…

Today is my best friend’s birthday – and she’s a true follower of my blog too
so here it comes just for you Lena…
HOORAY, HOORAY, HOORAY!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I sent her a lot of good wishes in this little book I made last week 
(I scraplifted my own “morning paper” book)

I have another yummie present laying waiting for her.
She will visit me soon and I will give her the present then. Rather than putting the money into stamps, I’ll buy us a fine bottle of wine instead which we will drink together… 

She’s very creative, and I guess we will spend the days scrapping, painting, playing with paper, talking, drinking, eating, giggling…. the usual girls stuff.
I’m soooo looking forward to it!

She likes to scrap too, but she’s more of a painter.
She makes the most marvellous paintings and I’d like to show you one …
